The Garlicks Kickstarter is Relaunched--On Indiegogo!
Please help bring my sixth graphic novel to life!

Think there should be more comics for girls? Want to read an intentionally funny book about vampires? Want to get wonderful perks for supporting my sixth graphic novel?
Then you want support The Garlicks on Indiegogo, a crowdfunding site! It's a graphic novel for girls, about Pandora Garlick, a self-described "fail vampire" from a prodigiously talented family. Pandora, who lacks the ability to fly, shapeshift, charm, or eat meat,  decides to write a book about her family. Instead, she finds out there's no getting out of the family business.

With the help of Astro City creator Kurt Busiek, I retooled the $40,000, 200-page graphic novel The Garlicks Kickstarter to a $19,000, 60-page graphic novel Indiegogo campaign.
The money raised pays for production & printing of The Garlicks GN, the perks (like prints, books, plushes), fees, taxes, and postage.

I decided to go Indiegogo this time because they have friendlier payment options (PayPal and credit card), and I get what I raise, which means contributors don't have to go away empty-handed like they do on the "close but no cigar" Kickstarter model.  

I hope you'll support The Garlicks again, or for the first time!
