Commission forprivate client of Liv Tyler as Arwen. I did something a bit different this time, inking with colored Copic Multiliners on the dress and skin, and Prismacolors to outline the background elements. The whole thing was colored with Copics, and I went back in with colored pencils and correction pen and fiffled more.
The pink blossoms on the trees and floating were a last-minute addition to add just a bit of pop to the piece. The trees are meant to evoke Eynd Earle's background work on Disney's Sleeping Beauty.
About the watermark: I just got through fighting over the rights to another pic for four years--I ain't going there again!
