Painting commissioned by Steven Gettis for "Hey Oscar Wilde! It's Clobberin' Time!!!"a gallery of literary figures drawn by comics artists.
This is Flora Fyrdaracca and Paimon of Bilskinr House, characters from two of my favorite books, FLORA SEGUNDA and FLORA'S DARE by Ysabeau Wilce. The Flora books are about a teenage girl's adventures in a California with a history different from ours (but very much steeped in the myths of the California we know), and they are imaginative, inspiring, and funny as hell. Sexy conquering Aztec princes, kilts, zombies, butlers named after demons, and words that make you throw up. It mainly depicts Flora and Paimon from FLORA SEGUNDA, but there is a bit from FLORA'S DARE worked in as well. [link] <---all about FLORA SEGUNDA here! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
