The finished cover for a great new book, Can I Sit With You? CISWY is a collection of stories about negotiating school, both the good times and bad.
All profits go to SEPTAR, a first-ever Special Education PTA in California.

You can read some of the stories that willbe in the book!

This is my first ever sculpture illustration. I expect there will be more.

Kato Polyclay, cardboard, tree cut from outside specimen, silk leaves, peat moss from a bag that's been in my yard for two years, many other found objects, fabrics, and wool.
The clothes were hand-sewn on to the dolls, and used patterns I made myself.

Great cover! Really conveys a sense of melancholy and isolation. The angel wings on the fence behind is a great touch... that must've been tricky to line up.

I once made somehting like that for a school proect, but they said my mom did it and I got a 40%. And a detention for lieing.
